Gabriella Nelida DeMartino (born May 5, 1995) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, screenwriter and YouTuber. She is known for being a part of the American duo Niki & Gabi, and running a YouTube channel with her twin sister. as well as running her own side channel on her own called Fancy Vlogs By Gab.

While part of Niki & Gabi, DeMartino began to establish herself as a solo artist with the release of her debut solo single "Ever After" in 2016. she released her debut solo EP, Gabroadway, in 2020, and her debut studio album, Paintings Of Me, is set for release in May 2022.

Early Life and career

DeMartino was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to Jeffrey DeMartino and Nelida Garcia-DeMartino. Gabi is of Cuban and Italian descent. She has an older sister named Alessandra, a twin sister named Nicola, and younger brother named Anthony. Gabi attended Notre Dame High School followed by DeSales University (between 2013 and 2018). She majored in musical theater but later changed it to communications.

2010–2015: 00RemakeGirls, Niki and Gabi, Fancy Vlogs By Gab

DeMartino began her career with her twin sister Niki and older sister Alex when they created their first YouTube channel, 00RemakeGirls. They've released covers, sketches, parodies, and short movies. Later, DeMartino created another channel in 2012 with only her twin called Niki and Gabi which was a beauty channel. the duo decided to work on original music with releasing their debut single "We're Not Over" in 2014, followed by "It" in 2015. DeMartino created her side-solo channel, Fancy Vlogs By Gab, in July 2015. And also released many solo covers on her channel.

2016–2019: Solo debut, Individual, Blood Queens

After creating her side channel. DeMartino broke out into the music industry with releasing her debut solo single "Ever After" on July 17, 2016, while being in Niki & Gabi. DeMartino created her own web-series, Blood Queens, in October 2017, a show that was a parody of Fox series Scream Queens. She decided to create the show when she found out that Scream Queens was canceled. She airs it on her channel and plays Gabi Oberlin. On July 13, 2018, DeMartino released her second single titled "Flowers", as the third single from Niki & Gabi's debut EP, Individual, the EP was released on July 27, they began working on it in 2016 which made them remove "We're Not Over" and "It" from streaming platforms due to their team saying that they're unprofessional. In September 2018, DeMartino was featured on Mina Tobias' single "Another One" along with Kai Lucas, which marked as her first solo collaboration with a singer. Later that month she released a diss tracks for her haters' called "Yacht", which was a respond to Ariana Grande's fans who've been calling her out for being inspired by the singer. DeMartino later got invited by Ariana Grande to be featured in her "thank u, next" music video in November.

On February 14, 2019, DeMartino released her valentine single "Cold Room", a song she wrote in 2016 and kept it for years, originally was intended to be on Individual but was scrapped. In August, she got invited by Trisha Paytas to her 'The Heartbreaker Tour' to perform "What Dreams Are Made Of". On December 27, DeMartino released her Christmas special for Blood Queens Coven, features a single "Without Money" that was featured on her then-upcoming debut extended play Gabroadway. At the same month she began teasing her debut solo album.

2020–present: Gabroadway and Paintings Of Me

In January 2020, DeMartino revealed that she's signed with Roc Nation and started teasing her first solo album. On June 10, DeMartino released her debut EP titled Gabroadway, it features three tracks and a medley. On September 1, she released "Champagne Dreams", which she said it's about how she made her dreams come true. Followed by the official lead single "Pretty Little Mind" from her debut album on October 9. In August 2021, she opened for Zedd's concert at Musikfest and released the second single from her album called "Not Today". She also collaborated on a skincare line with Pumpkin & Spice. In October, Gabi released "Immaculate" as a cancel-culture anthem. After the death of her dog, Lily Rose, she released "Broken Morning" and the title of her album was officially announced. In May 2022, DeMartino is set to release her debut studio album, Paintings Of Me.

Gabi had her first boyfriend in sixth grade. Gabi had an on and off relationship with a guy for 2 years just before Freshman Year (9th grade).

In October 2010, whilst at Notre Dame High School, Gabi began dating Brandon Grube. They had both met during the summer 2 months before the new school year started. Brandon asked Gabi to go to his Senior Homecoming with him and gave her a stuffed dog. They had their first kiss waiting for the bus to come standing outside his locker. Gabi had to ask her parents permission before she could accept Brandon as her boyfriend because of their age difference. They broke up during Christmas break of 2011.

On July 25, 2015, Gabi started dating Collin Vogt. and they moved to The Castaway Cottage in 2018. in 2020, he confirmed to propose to Gabi very soon. They also said that they would name their children, if they were girls, Elowyn and Clara, and if they were boys, Eden and River.
